I have lived in the montgomery area all my life.

I work at Jay R Smith Manufacturing. 30 Years-- Machine dept Foreman --Journeyman machinist.  I have been the local Society of Manufacturing Engineers Chpter 330 Chairman. I m not a true gear head but I apparently watch too much TV. Overhauling- American Hotrod- All the shows about building cars. My First Car was a 57 210 4Dr.

A few years ago I felt the need to build a 57 hot rod. They cost too much. So I ended up buying a 78 Nova 2dr custom. I am cleaning the car up as you can see from the pcture. The car is completely tore down and is nearing re assembly. I am putting a 2003 5.3 liter (327) with a 5 speed NV3500 transmission out of a 2006 pickup. I am looking forward to taking it to the shows as soon as it can get there.
