Stainless Steel  polishing

Start with some 1000 grit sandpaper, then move to 1200 and 1500 grit.  I
usually wet sand it.  Then use a white rogue compound with a low speed
tight-wound buff on a drill or polisher to eliminate the sand scratches into
heavy swirl marks.  From there, use white rogue with moderate speed and a
light-wound buff to bring out a shine.  From here use a finishing buff with a
paste compound (mothers works well) and high speed to brighten the finish.  It
should look great when you're finished!
