2004 Club Summary
This past year 2004 was our club's best year yet. We have attended many shows and cruises as a club. There have been too many awards to count won by our members this year. Many of us have on going projects with our cars and this year should be even better. We have enjoyed some grand times and good food at our monthly meetings and also a summer picnic. We shared information and many ideas. We made some goals in the beginning of 2004 and we met all of them.
. We drove our cars
on 2 round racetracks – Montgomery Motorsports Speedway and Talladega
International Speedway. We attended 3
charity events and hosted 2 of them – The Health South blood drive,

We continued to purchase and wear our
GMHP Club shirts, Jackets and caps. This gives us a source of pride in our club
and makes our presence known at any event we attend. Many members have donated
their time to make things happen. Some of our members have purchased things
that are used by our club, among them a GM flag, club business cards, printing
and goodies given away at our cruise-in. I want to say a special thanks to our
club officers for being there and for all their work.
We continued to update our sound system and made donations to many
charities. There was several fun and notable events we were a part of in
2004.
Many of our club members have been of help to each other and our club in
different ways. All our cars may or may not all be High Performance, but all
are people are high performers. We have gained some valuable new members this
year and we are glad to make them a part of our club. I know I have made lot of
new friends and grown closer to some of my old friends. A person's wealth of
friends is a measure of his life. Being an active member of our club will bring
you a wealth of friends that money cannot buy.
It has been a good year for our club and the future is bright.
