The GM High Performance Club of Montgomery, Al was formed for the enjoyment of area General Motors owners. Our primary goal is to provide motorsport activities for General Motors owners, and share our collective knowledge of GM Performance. We promote or participate in car shows, drag racing events and cruises. We are a nonprofit organization with volunteers who plan, promote and/or execute our activities.
The GM High Performance Club of
Montgomery, Al was formed for the enjoyment of area General Motors owners
but we now include Musclecars and other special interest American makes. .
Our primary goal is to provide motor sport activities for General Motors
owners, and share our collective knowledge of GM Performance. We promote
or participate in charity events, car shows, drag racing events and
cruises. We have an annual family summer picnic and a Christmas
dinner/party. We are a nonprofit organization with volunteers who plan,
promote and/or execute our activities. We have club apparel including
shirts, caps and jackets available. We have an email member list and try
to keep you abreast of all the regional happenings as well as our club
activities.
CLUB MEETINGS
The second Thursday of informal monthly at
6:30 PM
(except Nov and Dec) members meet to conduct business and plan the events
for the club. Attendance and participation at these meetings are
encouraged but not required. All members have a voice and we welcome
suggestions in club matters. The meetings (about one hour or less) the
members gather at various local restaurants for dinner, socializing, and
fun. Presently we are meeting in the private room in the Cajun Grill in
the shopping strip next to Wetumpka Tire and Auto between Montgomery and
Montgomery on Highway 231 South.
Keeping our main goal to be informative, interesting and having something to offer for everyone. Our approach is a no-hassle way to educate people and show them what our club has to offer.
